I had a heckuva time with the spoon on this, so it's not quite finished, but I had to walk away or I was going to ruin it. This is for the Breakfast challenge. I wanted to paint eggs since I saw the demo at the workshop, now I have a reason! I'll post the finished version tomorrow, my back couldn't take anymore!
Looking good so far!! Love painting eggs and was amazed to watch Carol the first time....love that!
ReplyDeleteI love so much about this not the least is the colors coming off the board. Such a great picture! The egg looks positively gooey! wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteFunny you would be critical of the spoon. That was the first thing to catch my attention and my thought was "cool spoon." I love your work, Kristen.
ReplyDeleteLooks good enough to eat. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI think the painting looks great, it actually jumped out at me when I was looking at what's new on Dailypaintworks. I know what you mean about painting spoons, drove me crazy when I tried it months ago....I think yours looks great though!
ReplyDeleteLooks really good, Kristen!! Spoons are difficult (for me!!), but yours looks wonderful. Nice composition and will be a great addition to the DPW challenge!
ReplyDeleteThis color combo really pops!!! Awesome work on all your wonderful highlights and shadows, this has wonderful depth. Spoon smoon the only thing is I can't tell from the small pic is if it ends on the plate or all the way on out to the rim. Another awesome job Kristen!!!
ReplyDeleteSuperb painting, Kristen! You are on a roll--your eggs are awesome, and the composition and color scheme are, too. The spoon looks good to me, and has lots of personality.
