Still Life with Sock Monkey

I got this sock monkey for Christmas and have been wanting to paint it, so here he is in a pewter tumbler that I find incredibly difficult to paint.

    This setup is so difficult to paint. Your sock monkey really holds together well despite the difficulty in making all the "pieces" of color and value unite into one shape. He/She is adorable, and what a cute set-up!!!
